Near ghetto brew

A nice simple recipie I decided to try and worked very well.

I took a bottle of simply apple and mixed that with a can of apple juice concentrate (old orchard I think.)

Threw it into a growler and pitched some white star champagne yeast (1/2 a packet.)

left it in the basement with an airlock filled with vodka for two weeks.

Capped and threw the grower in the freezer for a little till I got a little ice.

Thawed in the fridge and decanted into another growler, looks like liquid gold!

If you had of used apple drink made from concentrate, added white table sugar and bread yeast then it would have been a truly ghetto brew ha ha ha. However, I'm sure you'll be glad you didn't do it that way! It's probably 8-9% or greater if you added an entire can of AJ concentrate to a growler so you might want to let it sit for a while before consuming...
