I plan to make cider in a few months, and I would like to use all local ingredients. I plan to purchase fresh-pressed cider from a nearby orchard. My friend gave me a few pounds of clover honey that he harvested. Now I just need to find some yeast. Oddly enough, there is a yeast plant (? I don't know what they're called) here in my home town (Hutchinson, Minnesota), Ohly. I see they have wine yeast, but that's about all I can get from the website. I was thinking about calling them and asking about their yeast types, but something tells me the receptionist wouldn't be able to tell me if they have anything suitable for cider. This is a long shot, but do any of you have any experience with this company? Alternatively, do any of you know of other yeast companies based in the Dakotas, Minnesota, Wisconsin, or Iowa?

Bonus points: can any Minnesotans recommend a good orchard?
