I'm just a begginers right now planning my 3rd batch, so I'm pretty much trying to follow recepies to the letter. My next recepie ia an Amber ale from John's palmer's book and it calls for 1332 Northwest Ale Yeast. My local store only carries White labs. I tried to find charts for equivalency but this is what I foun.d

Wyeast White Labs
1332 Northwest Ale Yeast n/a

So where do I go from there ?

thanks for the info
Eric

My guess is that the White Labs equivalent is WLP041. That's judging by the attenuation and talk about "fruity esters". You might not be too far off with 051, or even 002.
