WTF! cheapo contacts

2 30 amp contacts committed suicide today! Good thing I run a quick test before I start up the brewery.

I cut in a new PID and didn't pull the door. I think the vibration killed them. 45 brew days on them. At least it's the cheap parts.

I got them from an electric lie supplier we use at work. Cheap 30A contractors from china. 8$ each.

This is why I bought a big bad NEMA starter and not some little sissy IEC thing.

Yea it may be 4 times the size but worth it. You can pick up AB 509 series ones on ebay for pretty cheap.
