Another source for silicon gaskets--baby bottle nipples!!

It occured to me that these silicon nipples would make excellent gaskets, either for kettles or MLTs. The od would be about right, and once you cut off the "nipple", you are left with a nice useable washer. I haven't found a temp rating for these, but being silicon, I would say it is a safe bet that no steps in brewing would tax it. Target or Walmart has them 6 for +/- $3.50.
 
Might work out, most baby feeding junk is designed to be boiled. While you're at it, nipple brushes are great for cleaning spigots.
