I'd like feedback of any sort about this beer recipe. It's supposed to be a stout.
Here it is:

1lb Chocolate
0.5lb Crystal 60
7.0lb Pale dry extract
0.5lb Oats (flaked)
0.5lb 2-row
1lb Roast Barley

Any thought would be appreciated. Sincerely, AC

Anyone got any good suggestions for hops (amounts to use and type) for a classic stout style?

Personally I love Cascade hops... My oatmeal stout has 4 oz of hops (all low AA so not a overly bitter beer). 2 oz of which where Cascade...

Depends on how bitter you're wanting to go.

What's with the 1/2 pound of 2-row? Are you mashing that?

You have a lot of options with hops, but typically they s/b early additions. Irish stouts would use English hops (Challenger, Fuggles, etc.); Americans can use Cascade. Willamette will do.
