the extract kit I used (my very first batch) says that I should put 1tsp of sugar into each bottle, then fill and it makes 60 bottles worth. 1tsp x 60 = 1 1/4 cup. That seems like a lot of priming sugar. Every thing I have read says use 3/4 cups and never go over 1 cup. I'm going to add the priming sugar into the bottling bucket, not to each individual bottle. How much priming sugar should I use?

Good choice on bulk priming over individual bottles. I weigh my sugar for accuracy but I wouldn't go over 3/4 cup for bulk priming.
