Anyone ever made a cider with a combination of dark cherry juice and apple juice?

Or just made a straight dark cherry hard cider?

My co-op had some quarts of Dark Cherry juice on sale so I picked up a few.
 
I made a batch That consisted of 3 gallons of apple juice and 4# of dark

cherries I racked onto to 4 more pounds of cherries and it is now in the

tertiary. When I last racked it there wasnt much of a cherry taste and I

doubt that i will try this again, having said that If you already have the

juice you might as well try it. Maybe it was my recipe and not the cherries

fault
