Well I know some of you folks in the midwest are drowning. But down here in SC we are in the second straight summer of "severe drought".
It has been since before Memorial day that we have had an measurable amount of rain at my house. My plants are very stressed. I water enough to keep them alive but I'm not one of those that runs the sprinklers everyday.
Everyday the weatherman calls for a chance of thunderstorms. Most evenings I hear some rumblings of thunder in the distance. But then it just blows over. I get excited if we get 4 drops out of it.
