Hey everybody, I'm pretty excited about brewing my first batch of beer. Brewing is something I had been wanting to get into for about a year now but my girlfriend wasn't a big fan. Oh well she'll get over it...or not. Anyway I was just wanting to say hi to everyone. I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions as i get more into this.

Hopefully your GF will come around to your hobby. It's actually a really fun hobby to share with your significant other. Maybe you can get her brewing some cider or wine if she's not a beer drinker.

Have you purchase a equipment kit? What beer are you going to start first?
 
I bought a mr beer kit and am brewing a canadian pale right now. I did it this way because it was cheaper and it gave me a start plus I just spent two months redoing the basement garage into a family room/wet bar which was her idea. Now my gf can't really complain about the brewing.
