Bayou Classic - Awesome while it lasted

The weather is finally warming up, so I broke out my new Bayou Classic outside for the first time. That thing is a beast. Was cranking the heat on my first full boil batch UNTIL...I ran out of propane midway through the boil. Rookie mistake I guess. Forgot to make sure I had enough propane. Fortunately I was able to get it inside to my range before I lost too much momentum. It BARELY could get the full batch to a rolling boil. But I think it is going to be OK. I'm looking forward to my next batch with the Bayou, but I'll be sure to have enough propane. duh.

That is so frustrating. I try to keep two bottles on hand now.

Have a spare in the garage and the one on the grill. :rockin:

Yeah, that'd suck! Picked up a spare tank for those very reasons.
