Maybe there's a tried and true solution to a over carbed, kegged beer. I've tried turning off the bottle but still get nothing but foam. Is there any solution?

Turn off CO2, vent pressure, wait, vent pressure, wait, etc. until it is at or below the correct carbonation.

+1

The key is to WAIT after venting. At least an hour, perferably longer. This allows the excess CO2 to move into the headspace before venting again.

Too many people think all they have to do is vent the excess gas, and then they can put it on their serving pressure and be good to go. It takes time!
