I recently moved to an area that is using well water so I decided to use Ozarka Drinking water for my next batch of Pale Ale.
Below is the report:
Sodium, Na 12
Potassium, K ND
Calcium, Ca 11
Magnesium, Mg 1.2
Total Hardness, CaCO3 28
Sulfate, SO -4S ND
Chloride, Cl 23
Bicarbonate, HCO3 26
Total Alkalinity, CaCO 3 26
PH 7.25
Based on this report, it looks like I'll have to adjust the Calcium and Magnesium and Sulfates. If anyone can provide some guidance on adjusting this water for a pale ale, I'd appreciate it.
Cheers,
Gary
