My 7th brew now has been in secondary for 1.5 weeks. It has developed a film on top that I've not seen before in previous brews. It is a thin film, grayish-white, looks like latex rubber glove color with several bubbles here and there connected by spider-web looking "strings". This film has adhered to the carboy sides. No bad odor. Anybody experienced this?

I don't think so. He said he made the beebrau 1 week and a half ago, so I'm guessing this latexbrau was the batch right before that one.

Sounds like a fungus infection. If you have a filter system, use it ASAP! Continue the ferment in some other container.

I am not convinced that this is a fungal infection. If you can take a picture, that would be very helpful (a picture is worth 1000 words.)
