I recently acquired a Brinkman 42 quart kettle.
What is the optimum location to install the ball valve. Since it is a flat bottom kettle, I presume somewhere closest to the bottom.
Is there a rule of thumb for something like this? 1, 2, 3 inches from the bottom?
