Just ordered a banjo burner to be used on my Boilermaker kettle. My Boilermaker is a 10 gallon kettle. I did not realize just how big the burner is. Is this burner going to be too wide for my pot and am I going to end up with flames spewing over the sides?

I take it you are talking about the KAB4/BG14? The beauty of the 30psi regulator is that you can dial it down, shouldn't have any problems.

Just make sure to turn it down enough to not have flames goin up the sides. :rockin:

Congrats on the new BB, you'll love it. :ban:

Cheers, and happy brewin'! :mug:

I have a KAB5 banjo, and its too big for my 9 gallon kettle, mainly cuz its tall and narrow. If I had a fatter more shallow pot it wouldn't lick flames up the sides.

I can barely get it low enough to not constantly boilover.

But I just scored a keg so a keggle may be in my future. Of course I already bought a smaller burner for the current kettle :|
