suggestions for second batch stout

just finished conditioning my arrol's 80 shilling which I think is pretty good except a few bottles dont have many bubbles, incidently those bottles were filled a bit too high I feel and there is not too much air in the tops. Some have a good head but nothing major??

Anyways I am looking for one more kit, maybe building a cooler MLT and going to all grain? Either way I want a kit from AHS that is a darker beer, more like a stout or strong ale. They say their strong ale is a bit of a winter warmer and at 7%ac. I would like some suggestions on which particular kit to go with. Thanks alot, Cheers then!

Buy a clone kit for some stout you like. This is a great way to test your process.
