Is there any advantage to purging the secondary with co2 prior to racking from primary?

Thanks,

Bob

I've done it a few times with my Better Bottles, but I didn't notice a discernible difference in the quality of the beer.

I have been purging after filling the secondary. I personally haven't noticed much difference.

I purge my kegs before filling. But, that is really a byproduct of the sanitation process. Fermented beer at atmospheric pressure has enough CO2 in it to fill the head space.
