Hello,
I was wondering if using 2 Johnson Controls temp controllers at the same time would produce the same results if setup properly as a 2 stage temp controller. I was going to plug 1 into a heating source and the other into the chest freezer. For whatever reason I went with a single stage controller so now with fall approaching I have the problem of some days being too hot, and some days being to cold.

Thanks!

just make sure to leave a gap of about 5 deg, between settings so you don't have them fighting each other.

Yes, and compare the probe readings to make sure they agree, i.e. that one doesn't read 74F while the other reads 72F for example, to make sure the overlap is sufficient.
