I let the beer sit in the primary for about 4 days, and it was racked to the secondary 12 days ago. Original gravity was 1.060. When I racked the beer, it was 1.019. I just checked it today and it reads 1.018-1.019. Is this ready to bottle? It is a wheat ale... if that has any bearing on fermentation.

I don't want to blow any bottles up, but today is my only day off and I would like to get it done.

Any input would be appreciated! Thanks!!

I was just very surprised to see that it was completely finished fermenting after only 4-5 days. The gravity settled off pretty quickly....

I'm a newb though, so that may be normal.

Vigerous ferments...you gotta love 'em. Is it an extract kit? What kinda yeast did you use? I've made wheat ales and they are usually not as fast, but hey, lucky you!
