My wife loves Oberon. Ihave purchased the Oberon clone kit.

What amount of orange zest should I put in and when? This needs to taste like Oberon or I am going to be in some trouble for the amount of my order.
 
Have you received the kit yet? Austin Homebrew always gives you a brew sheet with everything you need to know. If you've received it and it doesn't have the info you need, well, my bad.
 
You guys were right. I did not need orange zest

I bottled just now. The taste came out just like a warm flat Oberon.

Oddly, I paid for and added the "plus one percent" magic powder from Austin. My level of abv after adding priming sugar was 5.55 (so I figure a final of 6ish). Does that mean the usual level is only 5?
 
My wife and I both love Oberon as well and she actually prefers the AHS brew to the Kzoo original.
 
Very heavy head. It pours with a 4-inch tight head, that takes several minutes to fade.
