Why do all new kegs have unremoveable poppets?

Every site - they carry the exact same keg, it seems (at least the pictures are all the same) - and they all have non-removeable poppets.

Maybe someone smarter than me can answer this, but HOW IN THE HELL can you justify selling a product at up to 4 four times the price of a normal used corny ($30 vs $120), but less functional?
 
its cheaper.
they are designed to be cleaned in place and Backflushed.
They CAN be removed and replaced but removing them bends them, and they have to be replaced. when they leak replace them.

its best to soak the whole post assembly with a spare connector attached so the poppet is depressed and open.

I just bought the universal replacements for all mine so I have the spring and poppet instead of the little tripod thing.
