I know it is a "no no" to wash yeast from high IBU and High gravity beers. I washed pacman from a 110 IBU %10.5 ABV IIPA that I did 3 months ago. I recently made a nice two liter starter from one of the 6 samples that I washed. I then pitched this unto a 1.070 baltic porter.

1.070 to 1.015 in three days.............pacman is the real deal.

I beleive in pacman so much, that I think WLP001/US05/1056 and Nottingham are going be removed from my arsenal.

While there may be subtle differences noticeable in lighter beers, I concider all 4 of those yeasts to be pretty much the same. I prefer to use 05, only because it's dry and I don't have to make a starter.

I actually find that Pacman is the most attenuative and versatile of the varieties I mentioned. I think pacman could realistically be used from 45 to 75 degrees without a problem.
