does any one know a good way to convert an all grain recipe to extract or know a website that explains this in depth I have found a few articles but most of them just confuse me

The normal way is to keep the specialty grains the same (as they don't change in an AG batch or an extract batch) and then use extract to sub for the base malt in the recipe.
Depending on the actual efficiency numbers of the recipe writer, most of the time it's 1 pound of base grain (US two-row) = .75 pound pale LME = .6 pound light DME.
