I've been intrigued by these hops, seeing them described in various places. Anyone have a description/opinion on them?
Also, I'm wondering how to get the 'earthy' taste of an old favorite- Fischer from France. ? Hops and/or yeast?

A number of local breweries used Glacier last fall for their Fresh Hop ales. It's a low AA hop and an aroma that is often called "clean". Up close and personal, I find the hop makes my sinuses happy. Sounds weird, but it seems to act as a mild decongestant. I had hoped to plant some this year, but seem to have missed my chance.

If I can get some, I think I'll try it instead of EKG in my next brown. May have to wait until the next harvest.

I used them in my honey wheat exclusively. I think it is a great hop so far.

I think it coud be quite versatile in what you use them in. The low AA and nice qualities make it good for flavor and aroma, for sure.

I also have first year glacier sprouting in the hop garden. :rockin:
