Uggg. Cold crash sucked up my sanitizer

I know how you feel... just had this happen to me the other day with about a pint of starsan into a blonde ale. It's noticeable to me.
 
True, but I haven't seen this issue... So maybe it is happening... and I don't know it.

It might be because your bucket is not perfectly sealed, which is often the case. It could be sucking air and you don't even know it.
 
We always cold crashed in the keg. Fill and add 20psi to set the lid and lock it. Bleed off any O2 on top and leave it at 20 psi. Cold crash it. Once it's at 33 degrees or so, we carbonate and while it's sitting all the trub/proteins will drop out. The first couple of glasses are a little cloudy but then it clears. If we are traveling with this beer then once it clarifies we transfer to a smaller keg without disturbing the big keg.
