Well, I have a question for ya'll.

'm new to the forum and to brewing beer. I am making my first batch of beer, and am having trouble cooling it down. I mistakenly prepped my yeast way ahead of time. It's been over a hour since I prepped the yeast and it has been sitting out in a covered dish and my beer still is not at proper temperature. I'm guessing that this is way to long, but honestly have no clue. I am planning on throwing it in and seeing what it does and if it doesn't work, adding some more in a few days.

Any advice? Thanks

shouldnt be a problem...Im asuming you rehydrated dry yeast? the best advice I can give is RDWHAHB and welcome to the forums! Happy brewing!

many thanks for the swift answer. Yes, its rehydrated dry yeast. I'd love to RDWHAHB, but unfortunately its my first go and the fridge is empty.
