I noticed Pumbaa's comment about root beer ale and got to thinking about my own efforts in the past. They never turned out very well. So, I decided to cheat. I have a Mild on tap and various soda concentrates on hand. A half oz. of root beer-flavor in a pint :fro:.
I might cut that a little bit on the next round, but it works.
