Which kegging kit to get?

Looking to start kegging and need some advice on a system to go with. Here are the ones I'm looking at...

This one doesn't come with kegs, but there's a guy about 60 miles from me who has a stockpile of corny kegs he's selling for $50 each. This would be the cheapest option totaling around $250 including gas for the drive.

I really like the idea of a complete kit so there won't be any "surprises" during setup, but saving $100 in exchange for a 2 1/2 round trip drive might be worth it too.

Have you thought about http://www.kegconnection.com? I bought my setup from them and have an upgraded one shipped out today. They also have a free shipping promo for HBT members right now (orders over $75). They are also selling new corny kegs for a steal for HBT members, albeit about twice as expensive as refurbs. Look around the site under the vendor showcase to find the thread. If you want to talk about your order you can call and they will email you an estimate. What I wanted didn't fit in any particular prepackaged kit so I called them, reviewed the estimate, and ordered. Easy, good people to deal with. My 2 cents.

Woah! You just saved me close to $100! I was going to compromise and get a kit without a dual body regulator from a different source. Thanks for the heads up. Getting what I want and saving money! Not only that, but this savings is without the discount! If ordering and shipping go smooth I'll be a lifetime customer. Oh yeah, and excellent customer service so far. My quote was done in hours.

It will, and if it doesn't they will make it right. Great group, ordered my kit (custom setup) from them, and then some extra kegs. Will be ordering my perlic taps from them in a couple more months as soon as I save the cash.

I have no doubt that it will. I work for a company where we pride ourselves in our customer service, it's nice to deal with people who recognize the value in a happy customer.

Glad you were able to find the deal you were looking for. I know I've been helped out on these boards so it's nice to return the favor. I've ordered with KC 3 different times now, and every time it's been great. Hope you enjoy the setup! :mug:
