I am going to bottle this weekend and I was planning on adding some Malto Dextrin powder to my priming tank before I bottle to increase viscosity and smoothness, I didn't want to add a ton maybe an ounce or two.

My question is, should I just mix it with the priming sugar and make a simple syrup to sanitize them both and rack the beer on top of it, or should I just add it in powder form with my priming sugar? Will this even make a difference?

I'm just wondering if anyone else has done this and how has it turned out either way?

PS. I'm adding the Malto Dextrin so late in the process because I didn't think it was going to be this light until I opened it up to get a sample for my hydrometer a couple of days ago.
