I'm new to automated brewing, and have a question about valves.

I was able to get a couple of Asco 8210G095 valves from a friend who scraps pretty cheap. Anyhow, could I use these to control a couple of BG14 burners?

These valves are 3/4 in, so I'm assuming I'd have to use 3/4" pipe to connect the valves to the propane tank. Could I use 1/2" pipe and just put reducers on the valves?

I use a SS 1/4 inch solenoid like that for my smoker that I automated. Works fine. 3/4 inch is WAY too big. You could use reducing bushings to get down to a pipe size that is appropriate for the application. You will also either have to come up with an ignition system, or put a T before the solenoid and run a pilot light to each burner. That's what I did on my smoker.
