I'm too broke after giving Sabco all my money to buy it.

.5# 2.5L Crystal
8# 6-row pale
1# rice hulls
1.5# Cooked ground rice

30min at 122... 60 min at 150 68%ish efficciency
1.5# rice syrup solids
.75oz saaz (60 min)
.25 saaz 15min

My efficiency is based on OG from 1st all grain batch

going to assume be a few before I get it higher looking for a OG of 1.041 ish for 5.5 gal batch

Well, I didn't have rice syrup, so I substituted light LME. I also used flaked rice, which I think should be the same as cooked rice. Plus, I'm not sure what the %AA is on your hops....if you let me know I can change it. If the LME assumption is accurate you could cut the 6 row down to 5 pounds to get to 1.041.

Why the rice hulls? I'm not questioning the recipe mind you, I just dont know why a person would put it in a recipe other then a lot of wheat... I remember dude saying to use rice hulls when you use a lot of wheat....

it will help with his "cooked ground rice" mushy stuff as well, I'd think... may not be needed, but better safe than accidentally making gruel IMO

Yeah, that cooked rice is going to be pretty sticky. They sure won't hurt anything - rice hulls don't add anything to the beer.
