i've been brewing with both for a while now, Canadian has been a little cheaper. I can't really tell a difference in the 2. Has anybody else compared the 2?
 
Some people claim American 2-row has plumper, softer kernels that are easier to mill. Personally, I can't tell a difference (physical or taste) but I wet-condition malt before milling so that may explain some of the difference.
