Hey brewers,

Well, after 1.5 months of brewing, I'm making the switch. Just scored a brand new turkey fryer setup with the burner and 8gal SS pot for $60 on craigslist, and am about to get what's needed for a mash tun.

My wife thinks our garage will be a micro brewery soon, but I don't think so. I mean, it will take me at -least- 6 months to put in a bar and six tap system! :mug:

you won't regret the switch. there are some headaches (the worst of which is the 5-6 hour brew times!) but your beer will be better than you could ever imagine if you are patient and precise in your craft.

cheers!

Not to mention the savings on cost. By reusing yeast, ordering bulk hops and bulk grain my cost per batch is less than half of what it was when I first started.
