Made a 8 gallon batch of Hefe.
My first stuck sparge, even though I used rice hulls. BAD stuck, like cement.
Had to use a paint strainer bag, wort is bad cloudy. NEVER had a scorching issue with the heatstick, until today. Sucker is BLACK now.
No flies in the wort, they were all in the house. Instead, they had MOSQUITOES stand in for them.
Wind kept blowing out the burner.
Wind blew my empty better bottles all over the yard.
Frakking OG wound up 1.066 for some reason.
This will probably be a good batch, but it was a mess today.
Now, I am not worrying, and having a homebrew (Blueberry Wheat).
