I received a deliverly the other day. I live in CT and it was insanely cold. When I opened the package my wyeast liquid yeast was frozen.
Is it doomed?

I was paranoid about that too. My liquid yeast was delivered Friday, when it was -10. Luckily, my wife was there and the yeast was not frozen. I am interested in the answer myself, but my gut tells me yeasties don't take being frozen too kindly.

I left it out just long enough for it to turn back to a liquid, then put it in the refig. I'm not feeling good about this.
I brought the package right after I got it. IT was at the end of the day, I think it sat on the UPS truck all day at 10 degree's.
