Tasting Notes
The Belgian yeast jumps right out at you with slightly sour plum and tangy citrus.
Grain bill/. 10 # Colorado malt co Belgian malt 4L
2# Col malt co red wheat
1# Special roast
1 # local amber honey ( last 15 min)
1# pale 2 row
Mash strike temp of 160, mash temp of 154 for 75 min

Hop sch/1 oz Styrian goldings 60 min
1 oz Kent Golding 5 min Both pellet

1 liter yeast starter pitched at 70 deg
Kept temp at 66 for first 5 days then let it rise to 70 for the rest.

This is a great beer with a unique color from the red wheat. Slightly sour and tangy taste and smell with a pleasant citrus after taste. The yeast is the focal point in this beer for sure.

Wrong recipe thread section, sorry. I'm not sure how to relocate the thread. Should be in Belgian strong ale section.

Glad you posted in the wrong section. This looks interesting. I'd like to give it a try.

Questions:
What kind of yeast did you use?
I can't find this red wheat in my database, do you have info on it?

Wlp500 Trappist yeast, and the red wheat came from Colorado malting company. Sorry for the long waited reply
