Hey guys!

Got a video update on my hop garden if anyone's interested:

I was curious. Should I trim back the other shoots coming out of the ground and focus on culturing 1 main vine, or should I allow multiple vines stemming from a single rhizome? What are the advantages and disadvantages to each method? :mug:

Are they first year? if so let everything grow, the more foliage it has the more it will create a strong root structure to feed it.
For 2nd year and beyond most people thin them down to the strongest ~3 bines per mound. This limits the amount of foliage in the end and the plant puts its energy into making the cones.

agreed with post above. I am at year three and trim all vines except two per plant and trim new growth throughout the year.
