I had it for the first time a month ago. I was surprised that it wasn't all that bitter. It's all about hop flavor, and the bitterness just complements the flavor. It's a great beer.
 
I was listening to an old Brew Strong or Jamil show today and they were talking about this, but I had no idea what they were talking about. But thanks to your post, I looked it up and now I know.
