Am I wrong or is there something taboo about putting grapes in beer as the fruit additive? It may be all over the place here but I never saw it and did a search and came up empty. All kinds of discussions about using all kinds of berries and fruits in making both beer and wine but never saw grapes in beer. Whenever someone has some grapes to use it is always for wine.

Why do you think that is? Is it that grapes and only grapes in beer would be repulsive?

I've seen lots of Chardonnay barrel aged beers lately. Usually light beers like a kolsch or a light Belgian. The ones I've tried have been really unique and quite good for the most part.
