Has anyone tried this kit?

I like the idea of a malty tasteing beer with not a lot of hopps.

From reading the description, it sounds like it would go down smooth.

I picked up a scottish ale today at bevmo but have not tasted it yet.

thanks
jake

I love Scottish ales although I've never tried that one. Give it a try and let us know.
They are the Anti-IPA, low hops and big on malt

Get the Scottish yeast and ferment cool (60-62)

If it's a Scottish Ale, like Belhaven, it won't taste quite like a Scotch Ale, like McEwan's or Moylan's, and won't have nearly the ABV. Belhaven is about 3.9% and McEwan's is 8%.

I've found I prefer the lighter stuff.... :drunk:

The Scottish Ales I have tried are like chocolate cake, taste so good, but a little goes a long way.

It was Moylan's Scotch Ale that I picked up at Bevmo.. pretty good stuff.
