Lets hear it, whats your favorite summer beer recipe, for those HOT summer days. I'm a homebrew proby, so I don't have a homebrew recipe faovrite yet, looking for ideas. If I had to run to the store and buy a beer, Harpoons' UFO Weizen is a great thirst quencher, maybe too tasty.:drunk:

Never brewed one yet, but I will be soon: kolsch. Been downing a bunch of Goose Island Summertime in the last (hot) week here. really good.

Traditional fallback is always a hefeweizen, either HB or one of the German imports (Paulaner, Franziskaner, Hacker-Pschorr). Haven't really found a US micro Bavarian-style hefe that does it for me as much as those, yet.

And of course, my new "favorite" ;)

I've noticed Biermuncher has alot of ligher style recipes and I plan on brewing some of those this summer. Look in the recipe database.

Some I've looked at making are:

Centennial Blonde
SWMBO slayer
Cream of 3 Crops

etc.

#3 six row
# 3 two row
# 4 wheat
# 1/2 german light crystal
1oz willamette 60min
1 oz willamette 30min
1 oz Willamette flame out

1056 smack pack
