is it ok to top up a1/3 full keg with a new batch of the same brew?
i made another batch of bm's cream of 3 crops and have about 28 litres so thought i would add the extra to the original keg.
bad idea????

Not necessarily a bad idea, but you'll want to give it atleast a few days hooked up to co2 since the new beer isn't carbonated yet.

Show your keg who is its daddy! Since the new brew is greener, I would ensure that you mix the two together well when you force carb it (will help the carbing process too). I'm not saying molest it- just turn it upside down/right side up, roll it around on the floor, smack it around a little.. The usual ;-)

thanks for the replys i will go ahead and try this weekend.
then i can practice with the bmbf on the partial keg after its carbed up.
