Dark DME starter for a wheat beer..?

Im going to make a bavarian wheat beer. I only have Dark DME on hand. Will this work okay without messin up any flavor, or should I wait til tomorrow to make the starter?
 
The amount of dark DME you would use to make a starter shouldn't affect it much if any at all. (Depending on the size of your starter).
 
Its 1 qt. , pretty small.....I'll probably just do it, everything is ready, just waiting for the wort to cool a couple more degrees.

First time using a smack pack also.
