Hey guys! Just wondering about ways to help stabilize the temperature of my brew during fermentation. I live on a 3rd floor apartment with no air conditioning. The temperature changes pretty dramatically throughout the day. Unfortunately, building a fermentation fridge is currently not an option. Any alternative ideas?

(If I missed a thread regarding this, please just point me there and my apologies in advance)

I'm a very novice here, but I've had success with sitting my carboy in a tub of water with a towel or t-shirt wrapped around it. If the temp. gets too warm, I just add a cup of ice to the water.

In general, heat transfer/cooling works best in liquids- just simple thermodynamics.

Bro use the search function. There's trillions of threads on this topic. Trillions.
