Thanks Claudius, I had the privilege of driving route 10 all the way across your great state a few years back , PA has nothing on Texas , it is beautiful .

Shameless self promotion . . .
But well deserved. I especially like your logic for not going pro. Why mess up a perfectly good hobby with professional concerns? I look forward to watching the documentary with friend and saying, "I once shared a beer with that guy." And hey, where can I get one of those T-shirts?

wow, looks awesome! I wish one day to acquire such a fine establishment! :rockin:

Excellent work! Everything about it is well thought out and obviously easy on the eye. The property is also beautiful. Heck, you can even be buried next to your brewery;) Have you considered growing some hops on the property? I may have missed that in your thread...apologies if I did.

Edit:
I almost forgot: I really dig the old stereo equipment. I used to have an old Pioneer like yours as well as an old Sansui that had the wooden cabinet. I still have an old Marantz integrated amp and two monoblock tube amps and a tube powered preamp. I also knew exactly what you were talking about when you mentioned your upgraded drivers. I've built my share of high-end speakers using components from Seas, Usher, Hiquphon, ScanSpeak, Audax, Fostex, Vifa and the Dayton RS series. I have a kick-ass dedicated home theater in our basement with a couple of 15" cylinder subs (6ft tall) powered by 2000 watt amps and a 110" screen and HD projector. All the speakers are either behind the front screen wall or enclosed in columns on the side and rear wall.

WOW! I didn't realize until the very end of this thread (yes, i just read all 18 pages of it), that YOU are ArcticAlchemy! I've been following your story on Facebook. This all came full circle now - my mind is completely blown.

Congrats on everything..you certainly deserve it!!

Thanks for being a fan, I appreciate the kind words and support !

What is the water treatment system you installed? I'm interested in how your able to replicate the water styles from all over the world.

That's awesome! I have the same dartboard you have! Now if I could match your brewing setup....!

Say you wanted to be licensed to sell a few kegs or growlers. If you applied for a nano license only do you think your brewing 'shed' could get approved? For sake of discussion only about what type of structures would get approved. LOVE your thread and your shed!!!

For this setup, the same legislation and permits that allow me to operate this shed in this manner, are the same rules that wouldn't allow me to do that. In my municipality, because the shed is a temporary structure, having no permanent attachment to a foundation, it allows me to do almost whatever I wish ( from a building code perspective ), in my city, they consider it as if it where a vehicle~ almost. To be approved as a brewery, it would need to follow my local business zoning, then building requirements, inspections and the like. Just a fun shed !

Thanks for your kind words and thoughts !

Haha! Is that a picture of the Queen above the bar on the left in the first picture? :mug:

Indeed !

It is an autographed picture of Queen Elizabeth II , on it states:

Dearest Christopher,

The all of England is so very proud of your Bitter Ale !

When I am in town next, how about a shag then ?

Regards,
Your little Monkey Woman !

Just a gentle bump on this thread:

My Brewery and Alehouse is up for voting for "Shed of the Year" in Britain , and also being featured later this week in the New York Times.

If you can spare a minute check out the pictures of the interior and brewing system , and cast your vote for the HBT homebrewer guy in the sea of sheds here:

And Done.

Very sweet, my SWMBO would have to call me home at night if I had such a facility to putter around in.

I thought my garage was bad.:mug:

This is a 24' x 14' shed on a property I bought back in July 08, the property is about 10 minutes from home. I would buy your wife what ever it is she wants for years before trying this type of stunt .
Note to add, thank you for the dimensions, that’s what I was struggling most on, how much space was needed. Thank you!

I’m a wife and looking to build something similar for my husband. You guys got the wrong idea, we don’t need a bribe. We need consistency and a good husband year round and in the sack, we get that and we will do anything for you. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Talk about reviving a blast from the past! I remember looking over his brewery very closely back around 2009 when I was designing my own setup. Truly inspirational!
