So I was curious about what to do when it's time to start bottling my first lager. Its been at 35 for 4 weeks and I'm going to bottle at 6 weeks. Will there be enough yeast to carbonate my beer. I've heard that because of the temp many times you cannot get the yeast to carbonate so you can add more. Or should I just say forget it and keg it.

There will most likely be enough yeast. People on here carbonate their lagered beers naturally all the time without issues.

That said, $2 for a pack of notty is pretty cheap.

Just FYI, this isn't the right forum for this question. This is more like a general beer discussion or a bottling and kegging topic.
