I had a wild morning glory vine join one of my hop plants this summer.

It looks very nice, but my question is can I grow both next year for looks without undo stress on the hops. It doesn't appear to have affected the hops this season.

Thanks for the advice,
Barry

Wild morning glories are harder to get rid of than hops so you're probably stuck with it. The hops will most likely grow fine but I'd keep an eye on the weed, they can create real problems if left unchecked.

Morning glories are extremely invasive, and can easily choke out your hops. I would personally not allow them to grow together. As a matter of fact, I pull morning glories that grow near my hops for this very reason. They grow all over my yard and tend to cover everything they grow near.

Morning glories make my morning glorious. I love to wake up and see them blooming. However, if they get near my hops they are dead. Priorities.
