I got a Barley Crusher, so this batch was to use up some my left over pre-ground grains. I bottled it yesterday four weeks after the brew date (three weeks primary, one week secondary) and forced carbed the last 10oz with my Carbonator for a sample.

It’s amazing how smooth this is. Light like a BMC, but without the annoying pi$$ after taste. Nice mild hop flavor. Finished up at 1.005, so it’s dry, but hides the alcohol well. At 6.1 abv and the ease that it goes down, it may surprise a lot of people. I’ll give the bottles time to condition, but this may be one to do again.

Actually, it was honey malt and went in the mash. The stuff works well for giving a nice honey note that will often be boiled off if you use real honey. Give it a try, but use it in small quantities.
