Let me know what you think:

It'll be a brew a bag with a 60 min mash @153F and a 170F mash out

6.5 lbs 2-row
1 lb oats
1 lb wheat malt
1/2 lb roasted barley
1/2 lb chocolate malt
1/2 lb dark crystal

2 oz kent goldings

wyeast irish ale

Should have an OG of 1.055

The wheat is for more body and head retention

Thanks!

Looks good...I just made one that was similar, but I skipped the wheat and had 1# crystal 60. I think the oats would help with body/head retention along with the crystal, but adding wheat probably won't hurt either. Mine's still in the carboy, so I can't provide empirical data so it's just my thoughts on it. Looks like you're on track with the prevailing recipe guidelines for oatmeal stouts. Best of luck!

I use some flaked barley in mine, as it provides wonderful body and head retention. I'd probably sub flaked barley for the wheat.

Otherwise, I think it looks good!
